Ruth's cancer

  Does Sam know that Ruth has had a mastectomy? I don't know if I missed an episode in which they discussed it. I'm not suggesting for a moment that Sam might not be fine with this...but if they have an affair it is never mentioned, that would be very odd.
  Now my mum is suggesting it might only have been a lumpectomy...but I'm sure I remember her feeling worried about how David would react etc.

  I can't remember which episode either but there was a discussion in DTA a couple of weeks ago which cocluded that he does.
  
  Anyway if he didn't before by the sound of last nights episode he does now.
