Quite a few Ambridge residents have spent some time living in a caravan. John Tregorran, Sharon Richards, the Grundy's, the Carters, and most recently Emma and Ed.
Have there been others? Has anyone been on a holiday in one? And have any "gypsy travellers" ever passed through Ambridge in such a vehicle...?
Passed through, yes.
A posse collected by Neil and Mike with flaming torches ensured they did not stop.

Thanks Bob...
Baggy and his family lived in a double-decker bus on Grange Farm for a while. A sort of caravan.
Kate had some of her friends park their vans on Home Farm land, And I think Zoe had a caravan as well, when she was conning Jennifer re Kate.
When the pop festival took place on Grundy land, there was talk of making it a caravan park, as well.
Tony stayed in Sharon's caravan (not at the same time as Sharon) for a bit.
Some of the Home Farmers stay in a caravan overnight during lambing (including Brian, Debbie and Adam I think).
I seem to remember that Walter Gebriel either set up or tried to set up a caravan site in Ambridge once - in the 1960s? Haven't got full details but I'm sure someone can come up with what really happened.

Yes there were the hippies, pikeys and tinkers.
But what about proper Roma with horse drawn vargas and ledge wagons?
