The latest suggestion on DTA is VW doing a Hitchcock.

I understand the words: "The latest suggestion": but the rest just pass me by.
Perhaps a Good Thing? Wrong But Romantic?

I never knew I could do cryptic (or unintelligible) by accident!
There is a suggestion on the DTA board that the receptionist is Vanessa Whitburn putting in an appearance. Hitchcock used to do that in all his productions. Sorry.

Rosie Alfred Hitchcock (film director 1899-1980) always used to give himself a small walk on part in his own films. DTA is Discuss the Archers btw (by the way).

[Rosie Alfred Hitchcock (film director 1899-1980) ]
I didn't know his first name was Rosie. Why did he drop it?
Ah! Films! Thanks, Reggie!
Dress, M. looked at me the other day and said, "It's a bit like living with a High Court Judge!"
However, I think I know almost more about the Archers than he does, which is fine with me.
I think tat Vanessa Whitburn would have to be a member of equity, wouldn't she? to take a speaking part?
Are you Vanessa Whitburn is Caroline who is really Alfred Hitchcock? I'm confused.
I wish Keri would sort us out with the answer.
Even more confusing because I missed a verb out from that last post.
Should read: Are you SAYING that blah blah.........Still doesn't make a lot of sense.
Still think it was Caroline though.

Could it have been some key figure from the past?
Siobhán, perhaps, or the REAL Lilian.....

It definitely wasn't Vanessa. nor do I think it was a regular actor "doubling". I'll find out the name.

Larissa Kouznetsora
So anyone who doubted her accent can go and sit on the naughty step... :O)

Well yes, but we only doubted which accent it was, if you see what I mean.

Great stuff, I saw her play in the semis at Wimbledon.
Thank you - I'll pass that on to my group.
Ahem - would that also be the actor

Aha! Could she be related to Bruno Milna perchance?
Slavic names tend to be translated in a number of different ways from the original (which would be written using the cryllic alphabet).

Well, its unlikely. But IIRC we haven't had the pleasure of a Bruno Milna script since episode 10000, so that's an odd link to an actor appearing in epi 15k.
(Frightening thought - I've listened to over 1/3 of TA episodes - even if half of the last 5k have been shortened)

Referring to pseudonymns for moonlighting actors, tramdriver. Not the wittiest of posts or observations, I'd have to admit.

Whoa - joy. Mr Keri is back and feeling better.
Hope he's ok after missing the 15K bash. Puts me in mind of the time John Major had his wisdom teeth done.
Hey ho.

Quite possibly but I can only speak for the name she gave us.
