I seem to recall that Scrabble letters were involved ...
Who gave you these Names?
Their Godfathers and Godmothers in their Baptism; wherein they were made members of Christ, the children of God, and inheritos of the kingdom of heaven.

It's all explained in Ms Whitburn's wonderful celebratory book, "The Archers, Fifty Everyday Years". It was published to co-incide with TAs half century but is now, regretably, out of print (come on Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú how about a new edition?).

It is not Kenton's name that is noteworthy, but rather those of Shula and Elizabeth.
'Shula' is a diminutive of the Hebrew 'Shulamit'. The name appears in the Old Testament Song of Songs, and could be considered a feminine version of 'Shlomo' the Hebrew for Solomon.
Elizabeth is also of Hebrew origin, and is derived from 'Elisheva'. Her story appears in the Gospel according to Luke, 1:5-80.
(I don't use the psuedonym of Trayfer and Possul for nothing!)

Yeh, and David of course, and Hebrew names continuing unto the next generation : Joshua and Benjamin.
And there's Ruth & her (RIP) father Solomon.

Leggsy!!!! Stop messing around, this minute!
Or I'll send Paul D'Otherone round to sort you out.
And take that silly pink hat off - it's not your colour. Mustard does more for your complexion.
