I'm sorry, I've forgotten how to get to the place where you do it. Please can somebody remind me? Thanks.

PS. WHEN will we get rid of this horrid feature? Who needs it?

PPS. Is it only me or has anybody else got very strange boards tonight? Wrong colour and empty buttons - fortunately I know what should be in them.

For the colours, Peggy, try pressing Ctrl+F5

For your h2g2 "space" try this link:

If you've never signed into the h2g2 space before you will need to log into the h2g2 subsystem in order to get the unsubscribe buttons - and that will require you to log out of here first. You will only have to do this once.

    Peggy,

What Jont's too modest to say is that if you download the script that he and Achilles wrote, you can unsubscribe from whole pages of conversations at a time!

I did remember to bookmark the page, thanks for that reminder jont.

Thanks Low Flyer but probably Jont remembers that my version of Mozilla which is what the French tax office recommends for doing tax returns online (you get a tax reduction if you do) doesn't seem to cope with his script so I've tried and failed and he couldn't recommend a solution.

I didn't remember that, Peggy, but thanks for suggesting my memory might be that good!

As for using Mozilla for the French tax office stuff.. a very very quick google has left me with the impression that the motive behind suggesting Mozilla is purely for the purpose of supporting open source projects and not be tied to, say, Microsoft. It's only an impression, mind.

Remember that Firefox is made by the same Mozilla organisation and I wouldn't be surprised if you could use that instead and still get the tax reduction.

But there again, also remember that there is no problem installing and using multiple browsers.. and use each for particular tasks as is your whim. I don't doubt that you still have IE and maybe use it on occasions anyway.

Indeed. I use Firefox for all things DNA, and IE for most other things.
