Forgive me if this has been raised and answered before, but am I dreaming it or was it not the case that Brian did not want to go to Debbie's wedding to Simon Gerrard, either?

I didn't think that he did go, didn't he give her a necklace or something and send her on her way?

Thanks, DKB - that's how I remember it, too. I wonder why this hasn't been mentioned yet in the context of Brian (maybe) not going to Adam's wedding? Or is everyone still tiptoeing round Debbie's break-up with Simon to avoid a sudden outbreak under-the-duvet-itis and carrot and coriander soup?
We haven't forgotten and I've seen it in a script which will be aired soon (if it hasn't been cut for time).
Perhaps being married to Jennifer has put brian off weddings for life!!

That was the old, soppy, soggie, girlie Debbie.
The new one is a multi-tasking, hard-headed, businesswoman controlling a multi-national agri-business from her Hungarian lair.
