Mr. Keri,
We know that some posters are put in premod if they are consistently and persistently offensive.
Does this not mean that their posts are read by the moderators before they are allowed to appear on the board?
Last night, I saw a message by one of those notorious premod posters and was genuinely shocked and disgusted. It was a VILE post. This is what I wrote last night:
Today that poster's message has disappeared. Obviously somebody has reported it and a moderator has decided it was indeed offensive.
My question is: if this poster is in premod, how did the moderators allow that disgusting post in the first place? Is premod a mere formality?
Thank you.
If someone is in premod every post should be seen and approved by a moderator before it appears.
Because this post is now hidden, I can't make an assessment of why one moderator may have let it through, sorry.

I assumed (incorrectly, obviously) that you could see all the posts, even the hidden ones, Keri.

That was what I thought too, LF. It seems it doesn't work that way.
