Course we do - it's Valda.
Ha bloody ha.You know what I meant, coz.
How come she plays differently for when she's standing in for Phil, or for Pip, or for Mrs. Antrobus?
{dignified, haughty, but surprisingly sweet stare} I was actually doing a Cornelian. Where is he when needed?
Is it, perhaps, Colin Sell moonlighting from ISIHAC?
bob
Bits of rendom piano - such as Valda's dramatic vamping - are usually played by Archers producer Rosemary Watts.
That was Peggy speaking of course. Or the Queen.
I love this Valda. First Lynda describes her as 'surprisingly muscular' and now Keri talks about her dramatic vamping.
She sounds fabulous.
But rather too spotty and not enough rendom Valderma maybe?
My age, no doubt.
Don't you have to be a member of the Musician's Union to do that? I remember once a performance of John Cage's 4'33 caused a problem once when the MU stepped in and insisted that it had to be one of their members sitting at the piano doing nothing.

Such closed shop restrictions were made illegal many years ago. And sad to say she isn't paid any extra for it. Staff No Fee, as they say.

I bet Rosemary Watts doesn't look anything like Valda.
