I've found out what Ian read
My True-Love Hath My Heart - Philip Sidney.
But which poem did Adam choose?
I'll find out - unless someone knows without me checking?

Since the words that Adam used come from the song "I will be here" written by Stephen Curtis Chapman, an overtly Christian singer/songwriter, it would not be surprising that the "one" referred to is God.
This song was sung at the wedding of my daughter and son-in-law ten years ago. Both the lyrics and the website of its author can be searched for on Google.
from "Legal ruling, please." in DtA
Thank you. I'll have a look.
Found it. It's beautiful. Adam is always there for Ian. He's proved that. Just perfect.
Sorry if you've all had this conversation weeks ago, but hopefully that means someone will tell me the answer - what did Lillian read at Ian and Adams ceremony?
Alas, Lilian wasn't in the episode!! She was going to give a speech at the reception. Did we really need Kenton & Kathy? We missed out on Aunt Susie & Ian's brothers too.
