In the Christmas edition of the Radio Times they listed a chaacter 'Venetia' played by Emily Webb, but I seemed to have missed her.
Who was she and what did she do?
Also, what happened to the female consultant played by Christine Kavanagh. Was she replaced by Lord Winston.

Yes, somwhere Keri posted that the part was to have been played by Christine Kavanagh, but this was changed after that info had gone to press.
I think it's here.
I could be wrong but I thought Venetia was at Alices' 18th Birthday party.
She was - and, if I remember rightly, she was who Chris Carter went off with while Carly and India B had a chocolate fight at the party. Speculation therefore that Chris's recent reference to his friend 'Nisha' (who Susan took to be an Asian woman) is in fact simply (Ve)netia.

Thanks for the answer, but Alice's party was back in September and the name only appeared in the cast list for end of December. Mind you, Betty's name appeared in the RT cast list only a couple of months ago - I thought they were going to do a "Dallas" on us, make the last year a dream and Betty hadn't really died.

May have got on the list early - or they rewrote the scripts last minute to fit in more of Dr Bob and her scenes were dropped, too late to update the RT
She hasn't appeared on air yet.

Venetia listed in the Christmas edition hasn't appeared on air yet? I thought the "legendary" Christmas edition only went up to the 5th January?
That word "yet" implies that she's coming one day.
Oh what anticipation to wait and wait till she arrives. Who is she, how does she fit into the story, will we care ......
"Waiting for Venetia"
