What happened to Joe's career on Radio Borsettshire?
Didn't he tell ghost stories?
bob
Are you refering to Joes Jottings?
Hanna
I'm not sure.
Jottings sounds more like a newspaper than radio.

That 'ishoo' is now well and truly in the past! A 'career' like that, as a novelty slot on the radio, wouldn't last long anyway......

Joe resigned from his slot "Joe's Jottings" on air on July 30th 2001. He'd rapidly run out of authentic country stories and was thus reduced to making them up. Bert was aware of this and was about to expose Joe as a fraud.
Any resemblance between Joe and the SWs is purely coincidental!
