Greetings, O Wiser Than I - at least in these matters. I posted a message last Friday - no sign of it appearing. It was headed "Heavy Breathing", was that too worrying for the Mods?
this one?
If you are one of the many unfortunates still in pre mod it takes a good while for any thread started by someone in pre mod to appear in the grand scheme of things.
You can check to see if any new threads you've started (like this one maybe) by going to and signing in with your Message board log in. there you'll see a section headed 'my conversations' and all the threads you've taken part in will be listed there.
, in reply to message 2.

Thanks, M® Legs, that's a cracker of a site. I guess this may be the start of a whole new relationship (with the site, don't panic - (where have I read that?)) I still don't understand the relationship with this board but I'm only a simple country woodcarver.
Archaeotoxophilus (good typing test, btw) - you can check what's happened on any thread you've contributed to by clicking on Your Discussions which is roughly in the middle of the screen about a third of the way down from the top. You can click on your last post to the thread, or to the first post in the thread, or to the last post made to the thread. Irritatingly, you can't click to the point where you last stopped reading the thread, although the system knows where that is, as it tells you the number of new posts made since last you looked at it.
Still with me? Not to worry, you'll get the hang of it eventually.
