What happens on Monday morning at midnight? The system shuts down with the message that the system is 'experiencing difficulties'.This happens every week, so it can't be a random or unexpected event.
The cleaner takes the plug out of the socket to hover up the moderated filth on the flor, maybe?
Housekeeping, anyway.
A term covering a multitude of possible tasks.I realise it's probably something routine, I just wondered what it is exactly.
Maybe it just suffers from Monday morning-itis like the rest of us.
I think it's some sort of housekeeping process. Of course, few Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú MBs are open like 24 hours like this one so its invisible to most users.
most likely back-up so if system crashes, there is last postings available

AFAIK it's a scheduled backup of the SSO database. Why they can't schedule it at a more reasonable time, say 4am, is beyond my comprehension, though. I get caught out by it on almost a weekly basis, typing my nightly Journal into h2g2 and then finding I can't submit it for an hour because it went past midnight on a Sunday night/Monday morning while I was typing...
That supposed to give me the horrors, rubblyten? I think it's sweet.Bless the spiders' little cotton socks.
