To the Parish Council, obviously. As far as I know he's not moonlighting as PM.
I've been trying to remember - was he already on the council when George died? Just how long ago was all this?
maman
David was first elected to the Parish Council on Thurday 1st May 2003, so he should presumably be up for re-election this year (although it hasn't been mentioned). This was in the time of George Boreford's reign as Chairman.
Hate to disagree with you Mike but didn't David mention it last night?
Hmmmmm, possibly, I was getting ready to go out to a chess match between 7pm and 7.15pm last night and I probably wasn't paying attention - all I can remember is the Lizzie/Twitterer conversation, to be honest.

There was a comment about Lynda bugging him to make sure his forms were in, possibly prompted by postings elsewhere on this board. ;-D
It struck me that the milk price stuff also followed neatly on from a discussion here...

Thanks for getting back to me everyone - yes I'd heard him say Lynda had been bugging him to get his forms in too.

I was rather struck by Linda nagging David to get his forms in - surely it's rather too late. Where I'm a Parish Councillor the deadline was several weeks ago and I've been 'elected unopposed for at least 2 weeks.
In fact it was this discrepancy that has turned me into a Message board member - 2 errors - it seemed to me in a week, just not what I've come to expect at all. Earlier this week Alan referred to a friend at the Parochial Church COuncil advising him of something - didn't sound at all right to me. I assume he meant the Diocesan Advisory Council. What is the world coming to ?
Exactly! I thought Alan's PCC reference was all wrong too. And tonight we had "parish council" when it should have been PCC. These things need to be got right.

Far too late for the forms for PC elections now!
They had to be in some considerable time ago.
It is time to know our PC from our PCC from our DC from our DAC etc!
These are recent discussions regarding council elections:

The way it was phrased, I think she was hassling him to confirm that he had /remembered/ to put his forms in in time.
