I passed the mod stage for TA some months ago. When I tried to 'message' on Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú7's messageboard today I was put into mod stage again. Why???

You have to go on premod every time you start posting on Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú board you haven't visited before, no matter how long you've been posting on another board. Tedious, isn't it?

Your discussion list doesn't seem to show any posting (today) on any Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú7 boards, so where did you post?

    thanks,

If you'd pressed [Cancel] then you would have probably known about it because a pop-up dialog box appears asking if you are sure you want to do that.

If your post simply didn't appear then it /may/ have been because the system has been playing up this afternoon and your message went into the great bit-bucket in the sky.

    Good luck next time.

Looking at the 'drama & best sellers' board the last post I see is from 4 hours ago.

It certainly looks like your posts are disappearing into the void.. unless the recent change to the SSO means that premodded posts don't get posted until they're cleared (but I don't think that is the case).

Tell me, have you been noticing any board pages seeming to "get stuck" - ie: they seem to show the same thing as hours or days before?

thanks for trying ... i'll just assume my excitement over the TROY broadcast i was on about burnt the wires (or whatever is cybercompatable to such an old fashioned phrase)

about pages being 'stuck' ... i can't say i've noticed ... but i haven't been on here regularly for a while

BTW i just got myself onto your system today ... and am just working my way through the various bits ... i like being here!

No need to feel sheepish, Cassiopeia, you should ordinarily expect your posts to appear straight away - even /if/ they do need to go through pre-mod first (which they will for each new set of boards you start contributing to).

But I guess (and, if I'm honest, it's really only just occurred to me) that if you are /starting/ a thread while in the pre-mod stage then the post (and hence the whole thread) won't appear at all until it has been approved.

Hope you enjoy the benefits of using the script. To make the most of it, it's worth taking some time out to read the instructions/descriptions for each feature on the main site - which you can quickly get back to by clicking the [Info] link in the black bar at the top of a page. The black bar also gives access to the script configuration [Config] which may also be worth poking around in.

If you're not familiar with tabbed browsing then it's also worth getting used to that in order to make the most of the script, your browser and your time. Hint: Middle-mouse-click is a handy way to open links on new tabs.
