It has been suggested, on the "Kev's from Darrington" thread in DTA, that MB members might be willing to sponsor references to MB in-jokes -for a good cause such as Comic Relief. I can't speak for others but I would, for example, be prerpared to put up a modest amount to have Sid (literally) batting for Darrington.
Is such a thing feasible? It would of course require a truly talented and inventive writer to bring off...

We tend not to meddle with the regular on-air product in this way, being rather proctective of its integrity - as we like to see it (specially written eps are rather different), so I suspect this wouldn't be something we could do.
However, brown envelopes of used twenties can always be sent to Davies Towers...
