I've been looking at the Archers' Family Tree and notice it's somewhat out-of-date. (I don't mean that Brian's son isn't on it!) Kenton's daughter Meriel (?spelling) isn't there, neither is David and Ruth's son Ben. It's hard enough to work out who is related to whom and how, so please can we have the family tree updated.
It's just occurred to me, no mention of Adam's partner Ian either! Is there an accepted way of indicating a civil partnership on a Family Tree like using = for married?
We are literally working right now on a revised (and more dynamic) family tree which will be fully up to dae. I spent most of yesterday painstakingly compiling a spreadsheet of relationships - including the civil partnership!
Keri, you are a star!
More grease to your elbow (as an African scientist once said to my mother, who was editing his book.)
'Ö'
While you are updating, Adam's birthdate isw incorrect on the family tree - should be 22/06/67
not 22/07/67
Thanks. Noted.
Keri - well done! Thank goodness someone does this job which simply has to be completed.
With the surname Davies your grandfather might possibly have been a miner, or even a steelworker. How he must have looked to the future thinking, "if only I can keep this coalface working and obtain my 5 shillings on Friday, who knows, in 2007, my grandchildren might be updating the Archers family tree!"
Good luck. I wish you well, but don't get frostbite.
Yes, one miner and one who worked in the colliery office (that was the posh side of the family).

If that was the posh side of the family, what was the beckham side?
Delighted you are working on the new tree and look forward to it being up and running soon.
