Obviously quite an acreage if Robert requires a "sit-on" for the lawn and guests are in situ well before "mine host" has had chance to look at em.
(just how many beds are L&R proposing to let?)
Makes me wonder, and please forgive if this has been broached before, how come Lynda & Robert obtained such an obviously desirable piece of real estate, with the likes of Chalkie and Matt Crawford buying up every potential des res (inc CAT & FIDDLE of which we hear nothing more of) ??????????
Was this property inherited by either of them, Possibly Robert from a previous marriage ??
Confused, as per

Lynda and Robert purchased Ambridge Hall in 1986. The asking price was £186,000. I don't think the likes of Chalkie and Matt were twinkles in the SWs' eyes back then, and Les Snell came from the Home Keaounties, where property values were much higher. That may explain it.

Sorry Mr Flea, that should have been £160,000. I was seeing double 86s.
Thanks for that Reg.
Makes my 2up2down look quite quaint nestling on Dogger Bank, falling quite slowly, rising slowly, poorer later, winds light to moderate.
And now for the Shipping Forecast ..... (Huhgie !)
