How did Spearmint get his name?
Throwing wooden alphabet blocks across the floor.Or am I thinking of someone else?
He was named by the previous owner.
I don't know I named a pony snooker cos the snooker world championships were on when i bought him
No, really, they went to visit him, he had belonged to another owner, who had called him Spearmint.
I thought they called him 'Sparemint' but I'm just a Northerner!
Perhaps he was named after the the winner of the 1906 Derby - Spearmint.
I don't think that racehorses can be named after classic winners, but I don't suppose a more modest riding horse counts.

Perhaps the previous owner was Mr Wrigley.

Right answer to wrong question. Please can you look at the recent question on the list from someone wanting to know how Shula and Kenton got their names. This is the correct answer, but no one else put it. Can you back me up please?

I rather think SeaNymph is being facetious Improbably, you will find most references to alphabet bricks are, owing to the Shula/Kenton naming question being such an old chestnut asked scores of times before
he ain't got time for 'orsis - he's too busy watching the Chicago Cubs try to overturn the curse of the billy goat!

Perhaps she really wanted a rhino. Dx
, als? well i've always imagined spearmint to be a reasonably youthful grey!
Why a rhino? Surely she wanted a lickle baby llama?
