Please, Keri, why no more "quote of the week" on the home page, to make new contributors feel welcome, or to acknowledge Old Hands?
I remember, as a newbie back in the days of proper threaded-message-board Mustard Land, the buzz when, after just a week or two, some offering of mine made the front page.
Other newbies [and the occasional Oldbie] deserve similar.

You might do better posting this on DTA. Keri has often said that he reads the messages there.

My guess is that he comes here first: it's very rare that a query goes unanswered, unless other posters have already supplied the answer.
Thanks. That's good to know.
Somebody still gets quoted on the front page. On the 'Have Your Say' section Forgotten Tractor gets quoted this week.
It is now under "Have your say"
Because the quote is further down the page than it used to be ("below the fold", as we web monkeys say) I keep forgetting to update is as often as I used to.
Must Do Better.
And to confrm: I read all the threads here but can't guarantee to do so in DTA. There are just too many.
