ANy chance there could be some standardization of pronounciation of this poor child's name. I'm sure he doesn't know he's been spoken to most of the time. The worst offender is Jennifer.

This has been discussed at length before.
There was a general feeling that the illogicality of his mother, in spelling the name the Irish way and pronouncing it the English way, should be upheld by all cast members.
For me, it seems quite reasonable to have a variety of pronunciations, as that is what would be likely to happen in real life. In fact, if it's the actors getting it wrong, that /is/ real life, isn't it?
