As a speaking character that is not an honorary silent? Just curious.
I know it wasn't a different actor btw.

You beat me to it!
When?

Too long ago. Auntie Chris seems to have been airbrushed out of the Archer Family.

I'm sure she was on the programme earlier this evening, Reg. (See, we don't miss Cornelius at all, do we?)

Didn't she speak round about the time of George's death?

I'm sure she has spoken at least once since then, but the occasion hasn't exactly lodged itself in my memory.

Not long after George's death afaik, (so about two years) although I did like her (off mic) contributions at the last PCC meeting.
I think Cornelius said that she didn't speak at all in 2006.

(Apart from tonight)
Last time I recall was when she presided at the opening of the Barford Bridge.
Any advance on that?

Don't you think that Shula could call her Christine or Chris now, instead of Auntie? We dropped the auntie and uncle thing when we became middle aged ourselves.
I wasn't sure if this Christine was the same one, she didn't sound quite so hearty.

Last time I recall was when she presided at the opening of the Barford Bridge.Â
Which was Wednesday 7th December 2005.
And your memory, as ever, is correct Rosie.

Was she at the infamous dinner party that started the Paper Napkins thread?

I remember her opining how much she misses the Queen Mother. That must have been late April 2006 because I was at a rucby festival when I heard it on the minibus.

I do miss the contributions from Chris Archer. Although the performances from the actor can be a bit on the wooden side at times, it's always nice to hear an original character, there are so few of them left.
