Popped into my consciousness earlier today...can anyone remember why or how John and Carol Tregorran got exlied from Archer-land?

After the alleged shopliffting of the gold pen ("Is she menopausal?" was the consensus) they went quiet, and then moved to Bristol. The scripties forgot their vineyard, the smallholding, the greenhouses, and, indeed, Manor Court itself.
that's life.
Be nice to see the return of Anna Louise, or young Richard ("Oh, gosh! Look! A stoat!") Grenville.

Didn't John's little dalliance with Jennifer have something to do with it?
Manor Court and its attendant greenhouses are still marked on the map of Ambridge hanging on my wall.
Oh, WE know they are all there, ebven on the underactive map on the website.
We aren't the ones who have forgotten. No, siree, WE know they are still there, producing, along witht the Manor Court wine that was so fine...
Now they're producing wine at Pargetter Hall perhaps in the interests of continuity they could make a cross-reference to the former Manor Court label. And to the silent recluse who maybe lives at the house who has let the land go to pot and who never ventures into the village - another Arnold Lucas who I believe had the Dower House after the Bellamys emigrated to the Channel Islands. I think his non-appearance was explained away by saying that he was blind.

It's probably disappeared down the same black hole as Hollowtree flats.
Arnold Lucas was some sort of lawyer, Mrs. Blossom told Jill his sight was going, and she popped round and tried to deliver Talking Newspapers, but he was curmudgeonly, and took a bit of persuading. Glaucoma was inoperable, and e then went blind, and needed some 'care in the community' person, to whom he was very rude. He was a talking character.
Oh thanks for that detailed explanation, Rosie. It is strnage the things one forgets. Yes I think I did hear him speak - he did sound a bit gloomy!
Causes one to think of all the characters who must still be alive and kept in some sort of Archers attic.
Christine is prime amongst these - used to be a leading light, but only rolled out when the year ends with an odd number, usually to bestow some sort of bounty on Shula
