to get out of pre-mod mode? It really is a pain having to wait ages before one's message appears - hardly conducive to joining in a discussion.
it takes a while but not too long if you're persistant and spread it out over a few days.
go to the Bull and have a look at 'snorking for newbies' thread.
Hang in there

And when the mods are busy or away from their desks, it can take ages for your post to appear making it look completely irrelevant or worse.

Weekends are usually quieter than weekdays so the mods are less busy and your messages will appear faster. If you post fairly consistently over a weekend you will probably get out of pre-mod by the end of it.
It certainly can! which makes being in pre-mod mode a vicious circle. You can't contribute to discussions properly so you don't post so you don't get out of pre-mod mode!
What's a girl supposed to do??
Please mods, I'm begging you. Get me out of this - it's driving me nuts!
I'm still in pre-mod, but I suppose 11 postings over 4 months is at the total other extreme. Probably a bit like if you never borrow money you have a terrible credit rating!
Please, mods, I promise to be good, let me out on bail, I don't live in Bournmouth ...
I really don't want to make you mod your way through a snorkfest!

I have just been let out of pre mod.
So compare your posting record with mine and draw your own conclusions.
