Who was the vocal group singing at Linda's xmas bash.
Are they going to release a CD?

My money's on it having been the Production team at their Office Christmas P-up, conducted by a swaying La VW, all swaying in their own inebriated fashion in front of an out of tune karaoke machine.
Well, I hope it was, anyway, because otherwise I have rarely heard such carp other than second hand via some inconsiderate oaf's headphones on the underground or train.

Mustafa
I think you're forgetting the infamous ensemble who played at Grey Gables earlier this year (or was it last?) apparently from the depths of a biscuit tin.

Office Summer Party. Pimms. Champagne. Licence-payers money.
Nuff said.

It's a real choir. I'll check.
And they are called Black Voices.

Thanks Mr K - very decent of you to find out.
I trust they have not given up their day jobs ...
This topic seems to have sparked some interest!
At least 2 threads.
But either I didn't hear as much as others or I heard something different.
I heard two distinct 'bursts' of 'choir'
Both sounded very interesting, but completely different. The first sounded like the Puppini Sisters and their 'sub Andrews Sisters routine' and the second, the Swingle Singers circa 1968.
In either case, not deserving of the 'musical'criticism heard so far.
If they are a real choir called Black Voices (what does that mean, would the Puppini sisters be allowed to call themselves White Voices, I wonder?)then they appear to be nothing if not versatile.
They were referred to (by Jeff?) as a Gospel Choir.
More info please.
