Listening to Eddie and Bert discussing the "anabolic" digester reminds me of my son's friend who converts old oil from the local chip shop into diesel for his car. Dear SWs possibly a "nice little earner for Eddie' or a source of innocent merriment?

There was a reference to Eddie using Clarrie's cooking oil recently. It's perfectly useable unconverted in many diesil engines and perfectly legal now up to a certain annual limit. But I'm not sure about the legality of resale. Still that's never bothered him in the past.
Not so sure about the "unconverted".
At the very least it would need to be rigorously filtered. And also cleaned up a bit as well I would think. But basically it would work.

(more to come)
last one. so - it will work but which of us will be first to try it ourselves? I don't think it will be me just yet.
