I really liked this character, is there a chance of bringing him back soon?
In a coffin, perhaps?

Nooooooooooooooooh! Don't kill the Prof.! I loved him---he was the first truly witty and amusing character since Nelson Gabriel and the perfect antidote to a morass of domesticity, emotional wallowing and Shula's tiresome Parish Council doings.
I can't comment, becuase I can't give away future storylines, or non-storylines.
But I'll pass your comments on.

I'll arrange a whip round if you can arrange for him being here for his daughter-in-law's funeral.
Well, I hope the whip is going to go round Jim.
Loathsome man.

I laughed out loud at some of Jim's witty lines, not a thing I have done while listening to TA since dear Nelson departed. I look forward to Jim's arrival in Ambridge again, at least he has a mind of his own. This is sadly missing from most of the Archer clones. He is a wonderful antidote to the endless bleatings of many of the residents of Ambridge, mainly the Archer clan. Has there ever been a more insular, self absorbed lot to appear on radio?
