anyone tell me what this means? i keep seeing it mentioned and sorry but i haven't a clue!
If you think a message is offensive enough to be drawn to the attention of the moderators, you click on the exclamation mark just below it on the left, and follow the instructions. Then the moderators will decide whether to remove the message.
Then there will be a lot of complaints from the poster of the message about being catpeed, and a lot of sympathies will be expressed by that poster's friends.
Someone else will tell you why it is called catpeeing.

Instead of alert a moderator or whatever it says now, the button used to be marked "Complain About This Post", apreviated to CATP.
it's been explained to me as the original of the exclamation mark was called Complain About This Post so C A T P - catpee
I have always thought that the expression 'catpee', came from "Complain About This Message," when taking the first letter of each word. However, now I have written it down it would be 'catmee'.
Oh, maybe it is 'Complain.....This POST'.
Taraa!!! I'm a genius, until someone points out that I'm not.....
TYPICAL!
Just when I actually know something and can be helpful, other people are quicker to get their post in than me. Huh, story of my life!
Now I've got to wait for the fleaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!

Piggy and Jeck have one, or maybe two......or maybe they are the cats that are dead....lets face it, I don't know. Haven't heard of other catowners though.
I wondered about that too but what's the flea?

Hello all, It is confusing, and it was with the confused in mind that Leaping Badger and other posters put together this list:
Hope this helps!

The stable has cats (allegedly, although we never hear them these days) that formed the basis of a huge row between Shula and Elizabeth, the latter leaving them behind when she went off to Birmingham* to be a journalist, and the former refusing to return them on her... er... return.
(*Or one of the moons of Jupiter, depending on your POV...)
And then they say "oh no, it isn't a clique"!

Shula had Tibby and Tiger at Glebe Cottage, they presumably went to the Stables with her, we only heard of Harry the Hamster being lost. But they may have returned to eat up turkey...
Peggy had a much-loved cat, Sammy, who died. Joe Grundy found some abandoned kittens, Bill and Ben, and gave them to Peggy to look after them. One went missing, in order to have Joe and Lynda ruin the use of the village webcam by thinking they could see poor old Derek Fletcher burying a cat body in his garden. (It was stuff for a new rockery).
There is a goodish (not very up to date at the mo) list of The Animals of Ambridge, here:

and... [find a tone posh, and lower it...] the little symbol in the triangle looks uncommonly like the rear view of a cat.
