Both Sunday's and Monday's are very quiet and have to sit very close to my laptop to hear them. Could the volume be restored to normal please? I don't think there is anything wrong with my hardware or software as other podcasts e.g. Peter Day's World of Business are loud and clear.
Sorry about that. Did anyone else experience this problem?

I found them fine - I have though in the past found the intro rather loud!
What I would like (ask for the world, you might get half of it) is a customised intro: Thank for downloading Tuesday's Archers, Wednesday's Archers etc. the reason is I often listen while driving - the iPod plugs into the car stereo, and while I can page backwards and forwards using the stereo controls, I can't, obviously, select using the screen (not unless I wanted to risk a very nasty accident). So it would be nice to be able to tell which epi I was about to hear.

Yes, I can see how that would be useful. I'll pass the suggestion on.
Yes, Tuesday's too was so low that I despite the volume up to max on my iPod I could barely hear it.
There is a way you can boost the volume of a podcast if you find it too low (if you use iTunes). Right click on the podcast (either in music or on your ipod) and select the top option "Get Info". Then from the tabs along the top select "options". In there you will see a volume adjuster bar which by default will be set to 50%. Simply drag the bar along to the right to 100% and then click OK to close the window. You'll find the podcasts much louder.
Hope this helps.
Or, if you're using other software, look for a "Normalise"/"Normalize" option.
