Just listening to an item on Material World about the disappearance of bees all over the world. I have vaguely heard about this phenomenon before.
I'm sure this must have been asked before but what's happened to the Brookfield bees? Are they ok? Why have we not heard about the threat to the world's bee population on the programme?

I heard that too, but I didn't take them seriously because they ignored the Tesla explanation for the Tunguska explosion.
They're still there - indeed, Jill proffered a couple of jars of honey at the swap club last week.
We have in the past featured Jill's concerns about the varroa mite, and some of the measures she took to combat it.
The new worry is Colony Collapse Disorder. We were discussing this in a recent scriptmeeting and I think there might be something coming up about it.
Thank you Mr K., I thought Jill was just offering strawberry jam. It must have been both.
You've set my mind at rest anyway I thought something horrible must have happened to the bees. I'm glad it hasn't, yet.
