Hi All
Sorry I know that this is a recurring theme but I currently live in China and TA omnibus is my only link to sanity!
I know there have been problems with the omnibus listan again option for a while, but last week I managed to get it from the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú iPlayer website. However yesterday's (Sun 10th) omnibus is not available on the Archers or iPlayer websites - both say "Audiostream not available"
Help! Is there any access to the omnibus? Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú please sort this out - its been going on for weeks!
Thanks
I'm having precisely the same trouble, and I live in Surrey. What IS the trouble??
Same problem here in Australia and not limited to The Archers this time. Very frustrating, have been 'listening again' for more than a year and never had problems until the last couple of weeks. Being able to listen to R4, probably the best radio staion in the world, has been wonderful, so come on Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú get it sorted for us.
Same problem here in New Jersey - got the same message when I wanted to LA to both the Archers Omnibus and Sunday Worship at the weekend. Got live stuff no problem though - sadly as Go4It didn't get lost in the system. No problem with LA today though so must have been a temporary hitch in the system - still can't get Sunday's progs back though

Neither the omnibus nor any individual program available in France .... same message pops up each time that "Audio stream is unavailable at this time."

Hi,
Several Radio programmes are missing their Real files (which if you're in the UK, and the files are present, you can access by selecting "dial-up modem version"). We are aware and working on this, thanks for your patience.

Same problem here in California ... is anyone trying to sort it out ?? I called the tech helpline after having to call the mainline to get a number that is not 0370 as they don't work from America and I just got a recording saying the operators are busy and then it cuts you off !!

Same probs in Belgium.
Growl wail hiss spit.
Because of the hour's time difference, I simply can't listen to TA in real time as it's the "evening rush hour" in the Tulip Field, dinner etc etc., and somehow never get around to Listening Again during the evening/day after, instead I Listen Again to the Omnibus at a time it doesn't get on the rest of my family's nerves (so not in real time either).
Have not heard any TA for WEEKS now and am very miffed about it. Don't know how to get the podcasts to work (I've tried to no avail), and anyway don't have one of those thingies you need to listen to them on.
Is IPlayer really not going to be available for listener's abroad?!? Groan, as I remember the days of recording TA on LW, with all the hisses and whistles, and besides, can't even do that when bl*ddy (apols to all fans) cricket is on!

Listen again from this page:
works for me.
Tried that Victorian Fan - the problem for a lot of us living overseas at least if not in the UK is that programs this weekend are still coming up with that "audiostream unavailable" message. There is no problem whatsoever with live progs or those I missed yesterday or today but there was one over the weekend. I went to the page you suggested and still can't get The Omnibus or Sunday Worship

I agree Jane. The Omnibus doesn't work. But TA does. iPlayer people are aware of the problem.

I'm in London and I've been so disciplined all last week on welsh holiday NOT listening in spite of the Will/Ed storyline being so thrilling and now I can't get the omnibus at all - "Audiostream not available". Please, Mr Keri, I wish somebody would do something.
So disappointed!

Well, my blessings on Ms Kate then, cos somehow or other it works again and I just clicked on listen again and it started.
The bell ringing made me cry even before Ed found Willyum - great omnibus I'm so glad I didn't miss it,even though I read the synopses...

In case of future problems, I'm making note of this link provided on another thread:
rtsp://rmv8.bbc.net.uk/radio4/1000_sun.ra
You paste it directly into RealPlayer, or into your browser and it opens up RealPlayer and plays what was on Radio 4 on Sunday at 10AM.
You can also alter the time and day to get any programme (the time has to be the hour or half hour). Not sure who posted this link; it was on another thread, but a big 'thank you' to him or her. It works a treat.
I am very sorry for these continuing problems.
I was at a meeting before I went on holiday and heard a presentation from someone very closely involved in the move of radio programmes to iPlayer.
They really are very aware of these issues and I get the impression a lot of work is going on behind the scenes to try to correct them.
