No omnibus again!

  Help! once again no omnibus edition available. Also my podcasts seem to be a little awry. Is anyone else having these problems?

  There is apparently an ongoing problem - mentioned on another thread - about being able to LA to programs broadcast at the weekend. For the second week in a row I couldn't get TA Omnibus or Sunday Worship or anything else. I could listen live though

  Yes, someone else is!
  No Omnibus LA two weeks in a row.
  Sometimes I can LA, for instance, a Tuesday Archers and perhaps a Thursday Archers, but Wednesday's "is unavailable at this time." And that applies to the stupid Podcast (which has taken close to 2 minutes to DL) as well as to the original LA. This happens with other R4 progs an' all, like Woman's Hour Drama and the Afternoon Play ekt ekt.
  And lately Listen Live has been more like Listen Jumpy Stop-Starty. Pain in the wotsit all this innovative technological change to keep pace with the modern world, or whatever their reasoning is. It was FINE before!!!!

  I've just e-mailed Mr K to ask him if he knows what is being done to fix the problem. I can get all of the weekday progs but nothing at all at weekends on LA

  I've passed this problem on. I know that the relevant people are aware of the issue and are working to correct it.

  Glad to know it's not just me. What I don't understand is that for two days here in the US I've had the "not available" message on the Omnibus, yet when I asked my father to check from his computer in the UK he said he can listen again to the Omnibus no problem.

  Yes, I've been complaining about Listen Live as well. The gaps had been getting so big, it was unusable (and these were gaps, not buffering).
  
  But yesterday, something happened. England played Croatia at football, and there was no TV coverage, either live or highlights, other than on Setanta.
  
  So many, many people listened to Radio 5 for the only easily available coverage (including me). Listen Live was perfect, not a single gap, despite the (presumably) huge number of people listening. What's more, R4 has been perfect today as well.
  
  Either the problem was found just in time for the footy, or there is some mechanism whereby somebody can increase or decrease the quality of radio streams, which they did in time for the footy. If the latter, then Listen Live will presumably deteriorate back to its previous appalling state over the next few days.
  
  We shall see.
