perhaps i am wrong but i seem to remember that when i listened to the archers in the 50's there was a character that played the shepherd on lakey hill i think he may have had a welsh type name.does anyone else remember this or did i imagine it.
Len Thomas (played by Arnold Peters, who now plays Jack Woolley).

This amazes me Mr. Keri! I can remember Len's voice quite clearly, with its musical Welsh lilt. So different from our Jack from Brum.
All respect to Arnold Peters.

Arnold Peters also played David Latimer, the trendy vicar.

Len Thomas was a great character - he had a slight 'edge' and gave the programme the excitement and danger which it mostly lacked at times.
Thank for that link for ages I have not been able to find alink to Alan Rothwell who played Jimmy Grange in TA many years ago long befor he appeared on TV.
