I think the map of the village is a good idea for new listeners.
Rather than just naming the locations, however, perhaps the labels could be improved by adding in the names of the current inhabitants. These could be abbreviated, eg, Lower Loxley, the Pargetters.
Obviously this would entail occasional updates, but it shouldn't be too onerous, as folk don't move very often.
The map could then be a more meaningful adjunct to the family tree.
Just a suggestion!

If you click on the locations, a pop-up appears, and if you click the "list of characters" you get just that.
Be warned, it is a little out of date, though. We are working on a new map which will be up to date.

Oh, silly me.
I thought that because the label appeared without a click, then that was all the information available. I must have missed the instruction to click - no, don't tell me, it's in huge unmissable flashing letters.
