Does anyone else get really frustrated that it is impossible to listen again to Friday night's episode if you have been rash enough to go out then?

I can (& do) listen again frequently but cannot hear the Friday episode - even the omnibus edition is not available for several days which makes listening to what happened on Friday on Tuesday pointless when you've listened to Monday already!!

I contacted the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú via the 'contact us' link on the Archer's Page but never got a reply.

Could we instigate a mass protest of some sort?

Chill-out a little and take a look at my thread entitled "Calling Mr Keri" [or something along those lines] - there's a link in there to a copy you can listen to.

Save your typing fingers, my experience is that the BeeB are extremely poor at replying to anything sent via email. Why they actually have a 'contact us' feature anyway when they appear to ignore messages sent via that feature beats me. Maybe it is to give the impression that they listen to the licence payers?

I hope this elicits a response from the BeeB, but I'm not holding my breath!

there are technical problems with listen again for loads and loads of problems. As stated on the front page of the radio4 website, for example.
If you go to iplayer, most programmes are available from there.

    Gene

Seems the Beeb shares this with most other public bodies.

Have you tried the podcasts? The friday one was late and they are erratic at times but get through eventually, we got one several days before the broadcast which was exciting, tonight's, the sunday one, seems to be downloading as I post. ba

I quite agree. I have already requested that a repeat of Friday's episode might be broadcast on Saturday, but apparently there is no time available in the Saturday programming schedule.
Maybe it couold be broadcast immediatley before Sunday's episode.

It helps to know that if you are using i-player and can't find the latest episode look for 'More like this' on the i-player window and you will often find it there. I think the system the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú uses for updating all this stuff must be very unwieldy - there ought to be one single link to go to, not dozens which don't seem to be connected. It must make it harder to keep everything up to date.

I'm sorry about this. The Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú in the W1 area of London was hit by serious network problems, which has affected a large number of services.

Does anyone else get really frustrated ...

Not by something as trivial as not being able to listen to a radio programme at the very moment I want to, no ... life's too short.

I go and do something else, and try again later (repeat as necessary).

It may appear trivial to you KK, but it is definately frustrating to be told that a service is available and then find that is not. It is even more frustrating to be ignored when a legitimate enquiry is made. It is always refreshing to see Mr Keri's name on a post on these boards as it shows that someone at the Beeb is interested in our views and will respond.

I didn't say feeling frustrated is trivial, Gene Bailey, I just think that there's an order of magnitude that applies and listening to a radio soap epi that will be repeated doth not high on my scale rank.

Nor do I get frustrated when there's insufficient broadband width available for me to use Listen Again or download the podcast: it's just an opportunity to put the kettle on or pour a glass of liquid distraction.

But when my eBay bids don't get there on a Sunday evening, and I fail to snipe a bargain, I confess that there is sudden but brief surge on said scale smiley - winkeye

And I agree with what you say about Keri's palliative properties.

You are the lurid blue equivalent of Lily the Pink's medicinal compound, Keri, and I claim my £5 or a case of bottles, whichever is available soonest smiley - winkeye
