No doubt it's snowed in somewhere.

Still no sign (10.10pm)

I have no problem critisising the failure to publish said podcast in normal times but for the rest; the weather has been atrocious today in the SE of England, so I for one will stay quiet.
Do you honestly expect to have Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú employees possibly risking their lives attempting to get to work in order to publish a podcast?
Where I live there have been some bad accidents so please get a grip and display a degree of patience.
I honestly thought the podcasts were an automated process where the progs were loaded in advance and released at set times. I didn't realise that someone had to manually publish them daily.
Makes the podcasts that my son & his mates produces all seem rather more sophisticated that I assumed!
Interestingly last week's news quiz is missing too. It definitely isn't an automated process so I suspect we are all stuck with Listen again this week.... Boo hiss!
Annie
I'm investigating whether we can get this published.
Hi Keri.
Surely you mean "when" as opposed to "whether"!!
I find it difficult to comprehend that there is something about publishing the Monday Podcast a day late will be effected by some sort of anomaly in the space/time continuum.

I sort of agree with the sentiment - ie it's not the end of the world that the podcast hasn't been published and I wouldn't want people risking injury - but, if the bbc took this haphazard approach to broadcasting people would have something to say about it. If the news wasn't broadcast because it snowed in London, would that be acceptable?
I find it frustrating that the bbc offers a service but doesn't seem to take the same professional attitude that should be expected.
I can't always use the listen again service - my broadband connection is often so bad that it keeps falling out (the joys of country living), so I do rely on podcasts to listen.
If it's not an automated process then it really should be, it would be totally ridiculous for it to be manual.
Regardless, it's perfectly reasonable to complain, either the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú are offering this service or they're not. There's precious little material available from the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú in podcast form so it's not unreasonable to expect they might behave like they care just a little bit about the tiny amount that is available.
I also noticed the missing New Quiz podcast, Annie, but have just checked again and it's downloading now.
As for The Archers - no sign yet - deep sigh.

Tuesday now seems to be there but not Monday.
Surely it is automated? I know there was an occasion when someone dashed back in to publish one that had got missed - and we were all very grateful - but was the exception, wasn't it?
I do sympathise, though. I recently had to try and get something published on my organisation's website. The wrong thing got published, and it had to be withdrawn and corrected. I'm now struggling to get the change log amended so it it clear what happened, and in particular, to make it clear that a certain document has not been revised. The problem is that the change log has to show what actually happened, so it can't just be overwritten - on the other hand, what happened was a mistake that was later corrected. There seems no way past this.
Sorry. rant over.

Yes I noticed Tuesday is there but not Monday. It will get very frustrating when I come to listen later this week. There is of course a "work around". After I have listened to the Sunday podcast, I will have to remember to pause my personal player before Tuesday's starts and go online to listen to Monday's. Very fiddly!
I'm new to the message board.
Can anyone verify whether or not there was a February 2nd podcast (Monday) - or did they just skip it and proceed to Tuesday's?
Thanks

The absence of Monday's podcast is made all the more frustrating by the erratic behaviour of the listen again (or, in my case, "buffer again") facility.

Hi Quigley29. On Wednesday at 9:39 am, there is a Tuesday podcast in my Google Reader but no Monday podcast. I trust the Monday one will appear soon.
One can only hope!!
I cannot imagine that Mondays podcast will not be published.
