please define "snarty little twonk"?
Erm, Tom Archer, isn't it?
No rhyming slang involved B-i-t-B.
Snarty - Substances family speak for irritable, unpleasant, selfish, squit-shovelling ... that sort of thing. Thought it was a proper word until realising on the boards some years ago that it was only us using it.
Little - diminutive
Twonk - Almost but not quite a word I can't use here.

I've heard 'snarty' over the years, Dusters. Always assumed it was a northern dialectical thing - Manchester or somewhere, probably because people I heard using it were from there, but can't remember details and have no evidence for that. Usage as you say - irritable, unpleasant, etc.
Twonk, likewise have heard that many times, although probably not since the 1990s.

Hurray!
I am not alone.
Or am I?

Given that I don't exist, perhaps you are.

I thought snarty little twonk was all a Dusty invention (apart from the "little",of course.)
I love it and have started using it in RL.

It's funny you should say that, I used the exact phrase yesterday because it seemed so apposite. (It was about a politician.)

I thought David Mitchell said "snarty" on today's "Just a Minute" but what he actually said was "snarky".
I thought her must be a secret MLer for a while....

Charlie Brooker just used the word 'snarty' in the intro to Newswipe on Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú4.

SWs love to make up meaningless swearwords for use on teh Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú. Remember Porridge's "naff off" and "nurk"? Or Red Dwarf's "Smeg"? The highest accolade must be when they become too rude for broadcast, despite being the figment of a writer's imagination.
A "polk" was 90s acronym for "Person of Little Knowledge" {i.e. a woman - I didn't write it, don't hassle me}. Could a twonk be "them with no knowledge"? Just a thought.

No, that would be twnk.
You'll have to introduce that most-appalling of grammatical atrocities from common parlance into your structure, the double negative:
Them WithOut No Knowledge
Innit?

Actually, they're not quite meaningless.
Naff was used in polari, sixties gay slang, wiki knows about it, it was allegedly an acronym meaning "Not Available For Friendship". Actually I changed the last word, you'll have to use your imagination. It became famous when the newspapers in the seventies reported Princess Anne as having told a load of photographers to "Naff Off", what she actually said was the same four letter word starting with f.
Smeg is a brand of fridge, but also an abbreviation for a rather unpleasant substance found in medical textbooks.
Don't know about nurk, though.
I used to have a Smeg cooker. I am deeply shocked.

RL Snarty Little Twonks - serious contenders imo would include:
Lewis Hamilton
Pres. Sarkhozy
Richard Branson
(not particularly little, but he qualifies spectacularly well on the other counts.)
And of course, many politicians and bankers...

Also 'narky blert'. I don't know if this is used in RL or just sounds authentic.

Also 'narky blert'.Â
Sounds like something Ronnie Barker invented for "Porridge".
I have used narky in the past - meaning someone who is irritable; narked also meaning irritated. Never heard blert though.

Italian firm with UK office based near Abingdon, Oxon.
Looks suspiciously like cheap-'n'-Cheerful Creda with a badge face-lift.

"Narky Blert" - more like something from a Sly-'n'-Robbie meet Gangsta-Rappa-Cool-Dude-DJ-DoggieWoof dud reggae remix.

Freudian typo there. I meant DUB reggae mix - but dud reggae mix probably fits at least as well in this context.
