Greg died in 1904, when Sonja was 14 and Anette was 12.

She sounds suspiciously like Pip to me - urghhh!
Also, iirc weren't the Greg daughters mardy little gits whom Hellqueen couldn't get a word out of? Now she's little Miss SweetyPie, all - "of if you're sure it's not too much trouble...." and such like.
Or was it just the older one who displayed Kevin the teenager tendencies?

Certainly no discernible French accent.

Didn't she win them over with ice-skating ? Or was that when they were "mardy little gits" ??

I only started following the Archers a year ago or so... Who is Greg and who is Annette? I have not yet managed to find that info on the Web site. Any hint and memorable traits would be welcome. Thanks!
Oh and there is definitely not a trace of French accent, but I've been living in the UK for 11 years now and still have my French accent

After living with Helen for a while, Greg (the then gamekeeper) blew his own brains out with the "Greg Turner Memorial Shotgun". He was survived by two daughters who lived in France with his ex-wife, of which Annette is but one.
Not really a trait of his, but it seemed for a couple of weeks after his death there was a contest to see how many characters could say the line "It's what Greg would have wanted"... (Often abbreviated to IWGWHW on this MB)
Greg was a thoroughly grumpy character
Incidentally, for those new to the programme, the following method works reasonably well for finding out about storylines for the last few years
in google search box put site:? followed by any apposite terms e.g. 'Greg'. You then get many of the synopses that mention Greg. This doesn't seem to quite work - for instance it didn't throw up any mention of the horrible day that Brian found him dead, but does throw up various useful things, and at least is helpful in finding which months synopses you should be looking for to find out more about an incident.

You may well be right - listening tonight it seems they had a ver ver naice time ice skating when they came over to visit their late Pa. years back.
My memory is not what it was....

Yes, Sonja was much more difficult. Annette was younger and more tractable.

I think we had this discussion before but I see no reason why she would have a French accent when speaking English. She would have been talking before she moved to France and probably still speaks English with her mother and sister.
