Has any one Silent, or not, ever been trapped in these?
I can't answer that but I have a vague and probably very muddled recollection that Jill collapsed in the loo at Brookfield around the time of Shula's 21st birthday, from one of those unusual illnesses with which people in Ambridge were occasionally struck down in order to inform and educate the general populus (cf Weil's Disease - Neil; tetanus - Tony). Can't remember what Jill's was, or whether the birthday celebrations had to be postponed. Can anyone else recall?
Thyrotoxicosis rings a bell.
Thank you LS, it rings a bell with me too. Exacerbated by exhaustion and general martyrdom, probably.
Which Kenton subsequently developed when he couldn't face having AIDS.
