Does anyone ever visit this ghostly place. I can hear the wind whistling and the door creaking closed and the eerie call of Pip's Larks
(What larks, Pip ol chap)
It's a very lonely place!!

I've looked at it from time to time after hearing the omnibus. It seems to get about two posts a week from what I can see. Prefer to stick to DTA myself, keep all the discussion in one place.

only trouble with that for me is I only listen to the Sunday prog and if I go to DTA it can spoil the storyline

I think this is a bit tricky DL. If those of us that bang on daily troop over to the Omnibus board then we let cats out of bags perhaps. I notice that on a Sunday when I get back from church there are usually quite a number of threads in Diss The Tossas started by people who have clearly listened to the Omnibus and not realised that we have had identical or very similar threads running for days.
Now of course it is probably asking quite a lot to expect people to go back through page after page of mayo to see if their topic has already come up, and it is not appropriate to have a diktat that people who only listen to the omnibus should only post on the omnibus pages. So this then leaves a bit of a thinky one - omnibus listeners seem, in the main, to still be using DtTs rather that TAO. So - what to do? I popped into TAO the other day and was terribly surprised to see it so underused and posted to that effect.

Lil, could you restrict yourself to visiting DTA only after you've heard the omnibus? That way you wouldn't have any 'spoilers' on the board. When I miss an episode I make sure I don't look at DTA until I've heard it.
The omnibus topic is a good idea in principle, I think, although I do regret the ghettoisation of omnibus-listeners it seems to encourage. However, it was created in response to 'popular demand', so it's strange it is so little used. As Dusty says, it seems that most omnibus listeners still go to DTA. I know I do, if I've missed the week's episodes and only caught the omnibus, I'll go to DTA and no doubt sometimes start a thread on a subject that's already been discussed - and there are always others starting threads after the omnibus. Which suggests that perhaps there isn't really a need for a separate TAO topic after all.
Hope you find a solution which works for you.

And Keri did post ages ago after I asked a similar question that it is visited by squillions of people.
I suspect many of the hits are us gawpers checking for movement.
Wel, as someone who supported the /idea/ of TAO, and tried to post a bit there, have to admit I don't even look in these days. I do think it is a quandary, but one that TAO listeners have to sort out individually.
I listen daily (not always assiduously), and often listen to TAO too (get some things I missed, and enjoy hearing the 'bigger picture'.
>And Keri did post ages ago after I asked a similar question that it is visited by squillions of people.
Surely not. The word "squillions" is not in my vocabulary.

I'm always a bit sad that not many people seem to visit Fantasy Archers, either.
But that's because I put stuff there that is often ignored for weeks, so I'm just being greedy and egotistical.

I popped in there about a week ago too, could hear my footsteps echo as I walked through the hall. Posted something and slipped out again quickly. Don't think anybody noticed.

Lil, I was wondering if you could bear to get the podcast for the daily episodes delivered to your machine?
That way you could play catch up with the Monday to Friday episodes every few days and listen to the Sunday evening episode as well.
[I am so *sad* I do that, and listen to the omnibus as well! I hear things I seem to have missed first time around] Cella
