I love fresh, homemade bread but it takes me to long ... Please, where can I find Jill's recipe for her `made in an hour' loaf?

How long is too long? I reckon it takes half an hour maximum of my time to make our two weekly loaves, including weighing the ingredients, kneading etc. You can't count the time you're waiting for it to rise and bake because you can be doing other things.
There is a recipe in the Cranks Cookery Book for making bread without kneading which makes a satisfactory loaf.
Wholewheat bread
¾lb wholewheat flour
¾oz baking powder
1 level dsp black treacle
¾³¾²¹°ù²µ±ð
½pint milk and water
½tsp sea salt
Mix flour, salt and baking powder. Rub in the marge, add milk and treacle, and lightly mix to a dough. Place in medium pudding-basin-sized tin, and bake at Gas mark 7 (425ºF) for 25 minutes.
Very sweet, but quick.
Doh!
¾ oz marge
I use a bread maker - takes about 5 minutes to assemble all the ingredients and then in 5 hours I have a perfect loaf.
and they are great at doing Pizza bases too !....yum..yum....now there is an idea for tea !
It was Soda Bread.

That seems a long time. My breadmaker takes 3 hours on its normal setting.
There is a quick loaf setting but I have never tried it.

How strange that all these breadmakers have different times!
I make a lot of bread using spelt flour - I like one part strong while to two parts spelt best.
Spelt (if you don't know) is an ancient wheat, was around at the time of the Romans and probably a long time before that. Some people who are wheat intolerant can digest Spelt.
Thank you RosieT, I shall try your recipe.
