It didn't quite sound like Robert Snell tonight (Mon 18th). Was someone else taking the part? I know that in RL 'Robert' is a GP, so has the Darzi reforms in Primary Care and extended hours curtailed his time in Ambridge.
Robert (Graham Blockey) is credited on AA
Sounded exactly like the same old Robert to me.

to start with when Joe first got there I thought that it new Robert but as the scene went on he sounded more like old Robert.
I've just listened to tonight's epi on iplayer, and I have come to the conclusion that they have had some changes to the way in which they mic the programme, or the way they use the sfx.
Has there been a change to the technical production? I detected more close and far sound as well as detail, the packing scene with Clarrie.

BTW, I was listening on a basic laptop. And I think the quality was better than usual...
...either that or I've washed the cabbages out of my ears.
Sounded like he had a cold to me. Â
That was the time before this appearance that he was thought to have a cold. Wasn't it?
