Has Ed Grundy really got a history of poaching? I mean, did he ever poach (or try to poach) game from the Estate/BL/Home Farm land? Maybe only with his father?

I am ashamed to say that I cannot remember. I do remember him going to make sure William was safe when there was trouble with some violent poachers (lampers?) and I know he has a history with drugs, but my befuddled memory suggests that he only went poaching as a youngster, with Eddie and possibly Joe.

But someone was in a fight with Greg (or George Barford?) - was that Ed? Or Jazzer? Why?

Sorry about the befuddlement and patchy memory. I am asking the question here in N&Q because I do not want to get involved in the usual DTA polarisation about the Grundy brothers!

someone was in a fight with Greg (or George Barford?) - was that Ed? Or Jazzer? Why?  Falln (in the days when she was a caring person, and not a fluttery man-at-any-price person), Jazzer and Ed were putting up anti-hunt posters, and Greg attacked Jazzer.
Has Ed Grundy really got a history of poaching?  Yes, when younger, with Eddie, but Ed also took Beth (American lover) poaching to wind up William.
