The sad death of Norman Painting was well documented but I haven't heard anything about Phil Archer's death on the programme - will there be a funeral ??

Yes, once he dies on air. Not allowed to post spoilers here but I have an idea of when

We missed Marjorie Antrobus's funeral, so we'd *better* hear Philip Archers.
If the funeral is on air will this mean the long awaited re-appearance of Alan Franks aka TVOA?

I am hoping they wheel out Richard Adamson to do it (by Phil's request), or even Bishop Cyril comes out of retirement for Phil. And please bring Tim and Janet to the ceremony.

Seconded, Rosie (especially Bishop Cyril); and possibly any surviving Tregorrans.

I'm sure that the Tregorrans will be there and their presence will be acknowledged in the traditional way.
ELIZABETH: Who is that distinguished looking woman talking to the Vicar?
JILL: Carol Tregorran.

Chris: And wasn't it lovely of Michael and Rachel to come along to pay their respects along with their parents, Dorothy and Richard?
How often are the actors profiles updated on this site? According to the current list of actors Norman Painting appears alive and well

They are currently being updated (for the first time since the profiles went up, I think)
