And why isn't there a link to the Archers podcast page on the catch up page?

This is really annoying, isn't it (as are the other missing features)?

Ah I see th link to the podcast page is on the home page. I usually bypass that because I have the messageboard page in my favourites. It should still be on the catch up page as well though.

For some reason the Catch Up page thinks the week ends on Friday so yesterday's synopsis is under "previous weeks".

I still can't find the synopses. I am cautiously starting to listen again now that Helen is in the background and Paul appears to have vanished, and in the hope that Tom and Brenda, and Kenton and Kathy, are about to implode spectacularly...but I want to see the synopsis before I LA.

In the "Synopses" section on the catch up page click "Go to the Archer's archive page for previous episodes".
The top synopsis is that of Friday 16th July.

Yes that takes you to the same place as I described but I find sometimes it's easier to know actually where you can find something than just using a link.

YES that is EXACTLY what I said in my post. I was explaining to another poster that I had described where it was for the benefit of the DD who couldn't find it because I think people like to know where they can find something instead of blindly following a link.

But if you save it to your favourites, you just go there and get several years of synopses, it's easier than going to the home page and clicking on a link!!!

Some people like to know where they're going, not just be teletransported. I was just trying to help them.
I have many pages bookmarked. However, should I not be on my own computer, I like to know how to find them.

"I was just trying to help them."
Funnily enough that's what I was trying to do as well.
Easy enough to come to this thread and click? Just as easy as going to the Catch up page and click?

Let's just leave it as I like to know myself where I'm going and why and not blindly follow links so in case anybody else out there is like me there it was for them.
FWIW it'd be a darn sight easier to go to the catch up page and find the right place than search for this thread.

Sorry I have offended you, everybody does things in their own way, I just put forward a differing one from yours, neiter is "better" or "less good" as I say, everyone does their own ways.

I must admit to being really frustrated. missed tonight's episode and clicked on the listen to the latest episode only to have last night's !!!!1 Can't even get a written synopsis. What is going on???? Don't want to have to download podcasts as it takes more time than just one click. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Perhaps not very much more time, eleand (once you've found the podcast, that is).
If you click the day's podcast directly (as you do the listen again), rather than downloading it to save, it plays very much the same way as the other method. I find the irritation factor of the delay more than offset by the better sound and smoother delivery. I've given up on l/a!
