    At one time Helen A lived over the shop (in the days of Annette - much quibbling about the 'state of the flat'). But I get the impression she is now back at home? A recent epi had Helen in conversation with Pat A discussing a promotion in the shop and I got the impression it was the evening ('What are you doing that for now, you should pack it in and rest ... ' type comment. It felt as though we were at Bridge Farm.

    So is Helen back in Bridge Farm or is she still domiciled at the flat over the shop?

    And is this the same shop as the village post office / community shop or are we selling cheese elsewhere in the village? (Or even in adjoining town?)

    {I must pay more attention at TA time, write out 50 times ... }

    I think she is still living in her flat over the shop (community shop, PO etc.) where she measured the alcove for the cot, but spends a lot of time at Bridge Farm.

    There are 2 shops. The one where Helen works for her parents (Ambridge Organics) which is having a promotion for a cook book by a wannabe celeb tv chefette. And the one Helen lives over and rents from her Nan.

    Yup, that's right: Helen lives in a flat over the Ambridge village shop and post office (run by Susan); she herself runs Ambridge Organics, which is in Borchester. It's that latter shop she was organising a promotion for. I think the conversation took place at Bridge Farm. She still goes there often, as much of her produce (including yoghurt and ice cream comes from there).

    Thanks for these replies. At last I am getting the picure straight in my head. Plenty of scope for confusion when 'living over the shop' and 'working in the shop' could mean two differently located shops!
