Please can anyone tell me how to do this...?
Anyone wanting to help would probably be interested in what OS you are using and what the Device or Computer is, along with the version of Safari in use.
The subject is being discussed on TheBull:
"Safari users - is there help for us?"
It seems Safari users may not get such an easy option as say FireFox, users one suggestion being to download or design a Custom Style Sheet .css. ( see msg#10 of )
There are probably other threads discussing such things, in which case no doubt anyone aware of such threads will post cross links.
Until the change the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú 'Betsie' parser could have been used, at least it would give a plain simple text, and effectively I would imagine de-bogroll at the same time. See
if we are lucky accessibility campaigners may force Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú to re-introduce that, it would be an instant solution needing only the mouse click to use it and a few more to set preferences.
( But Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú could then have Server-Side problems which is I imagine why they quietly removed it
- something that surely is against their own guidelines for accessibility, because the have no equivalent alternative,
- and if not against the letter of the Law on DDA is against the spirit of the Accessibility Laws. eg see & )
Also the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú is promising new accessibility features, but that could be months or years away yet, just look at the length of time they took on this current & unfinished up??grading.
Thanks, John99.
