Tayler, on Thursday I had a post removed by the moderators. I'm not complaining, never do whether I think the decision justified or not.
It's just that in the past I always had the e-mail fairly soon after the post has been removed. In this case I still haven't received it.
For those of us who don't go back and read all our posts the e-mail is often the only way we know that a post has been removed and that we need to pull our socks up.
Has there been a change of practice or policy about e-mails and if there has could you make it generally known?

Hi Reggie,
Just in case it's useful (and you know that I was the masked (or unmasked) raider in this case), I got both the immediate email, and the one saying that the complaint had been upheld (and for the other catpee at the same time).

And I haven't changed my e-mail address.

Not a change in practice then. I've just had a completely innocuous message removed (not complainig) and got the e-mail straight away.

Hi Reggie
There hasn't been any change in the moderation procedure. Do you know if the post was referred to the host/central communities team? If so, it may be waiting for a decision, in which case there wouldn't be any email yet. Posts that are referred on the weekend aren't usually reviewed until Monday (unless they're referred to me, of course!)

Thanks Tayler. It was definitely hidden not just referred. Must have just been a hiccup in the system.
