Am I imagining it, or did someone in TA once have a car-parking invention? Called "Sidepark" IIRC

Not one I've heard of, but I'll ask the archivist if she knows. It might be difficult one to look up without a character reference, however. Do you know when this might have occurred in the story?

If I have to guess; was it John Tregorran; who was Chrisitne's husband?
Probably 60s.
IIRC it involved extra wheels running sideways (hence name) that popped down when wanted.

Chris wasn;t married to John Tregorran, but firstly to Paul Johnson who was one for get rich quick schemes that didn't bear fruit, so Sidepark sounds quite likely!
