Last year the entire Christmas week's worth of podcasts were missing from itunes and led to many podcasters (myself included) missing a full week of episodes as they were never posted. It seems like this pattern is repeating as once again there have been no podcasts posted on iTunes (certainly not the version accessed from iPhones) since Wednesday 22nd. I understand that it is the Christmas holidays, but are we podcast listeners forgotten about over the festive period or is it down to a button pusher's incompetence? (a bit too much sherry at the office crimbo party?) Are we likely to miss the week again this year? One year is bad enough but two years in a row is unforgivable: whose fault is this - iTunes or Beeb and can someone please sort it before podcast listeners miss the whole build-up to 2nd Jan?! (several listeners have also posted this issue on the iTunes ratings for TA podcasts)

They're on the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú site so you can download directly
Presumably something to do with the feed to iTunes. I know my podcast software sometimes throws a wobbly with this and other R4 feeds, and needs updating. Not sure why as i'm not hugely techie with podcasting stuff
If you will venture over to Archers Addicts Help Wanted and post there, good things might happen!

Many thanks for the pointers Mabel & Cedric, hopefully I'll manage as I really don't want to miss the run up to the happenings that will SATTC.
I think tonight's is missing again - well no sign of it so far... this is really worrying in such a big week!

Glad to see it's not just my iTunes misbehaving. I set up my podcast directly through the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú website and no sign of last night's episode as yet. . .

The process is automated and I imagine given the holidays, no-one has been able to manually check whether it has published or not. We may even get the scenario of tonights (Tuesdays) publishing OK before someone arrives at work tomorrow and publishes Monday's manually.
I wouldn't worry about missing the individual episodes as the omnibus is available as a podcast too so even if the individual ones fail to appear the omnibus will be available from Sunday.
Mondays is now available on iTunes
